DESCRIPTION
===========

xdialdctl is an Xt (Xaw) based utility which provides a simple GUI
interface to control diald, the (really cool) PPP/SLIP demand-dialing
application available by ftp from:

sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/system/Network/serial/

If you like xdialdctl, you may also want to try diald-top, which
provides more information and functionality, but takes up an entire
terminal. It can be found on sunsite in the same directory as diald.

COMPATIBILITY
=============

xdialdctl is tested with diald-0.14 on Linux Slackware 3.1.0 (kernel
2.0.0). If you have trouble with other configurations, let me know.

INSTALLATION
============

xdialdctl requires the Athena Widgets library and headers, which I
believe come standard with most Linux distributions.

make
make install

OPERATION
=========

Read the manpage.

TODO
====

* autoconf or Imake
* IP load meter
* multiple instances of xdialdctl per diald (will require improved
  "force state" detection)
