Installing NFTP for Unix

1. You can install NFTP either system-wide (i.e. in /usr/local/bin,
/usr/local/lib) or privately (in your home directory). In both cases
you can use provided installation tool, install.sh. NFTP can also run
from /usr (i.e. use /usr/lib/nftp instead of /usr/local/lib/nftp), but
this is intended for system integrators and there's no automatic way to
install it there.

Therefore, start install.sh, examine offered configuration and press
ENTER. When you're root, NFTP will be installed into /usr/local/bin,
/usr/local/lib/nftp, /usr/man, /usr/doc. When you are ordinary user,
NFTP files will installed into ~/.nftp except NFTP binaries which will go
into ~/bin. Note that docs won't be installed in this case.

2. Read manpage and start NFTP (name of console executable is nftp,
X11 version is called xnftp). When started for the first time, it will
create your personal files in ~/.nftp. Edit ~/.nftp/nftp.ini to set your
preferences.
