(This file is an edited copy of INSTALL from the totem 2.0.5 distribution, but
all mistakes are mine. -- Jeremy)

To compile timewarp, type:

	make

To install it in /etc/modules/misc where it should live, just
type:

        make install

The absolute best way to set it up is to put a line in your
/etc/modules.conf file, as follows:

        install timewarp /sbin/insmod -f /lib/modules/misc/timewarp.o 2>/dev/null

When adding the above line to /etc/modules.conf, be aware that:

(1) You probably need at least modules-1.3.69k in order for it to work
     properly, since without the `install' statement's `insmod -f' modprobe
will tell you the version of the driver is not correct, and

(2) The modules package looks for /etc/conf.modules before
/etc/modules.conf, so make sure if /etc/conf.modules exists that you
     add the line there instead.

To update your module dependencies, run the following (ignore the unresolved
symbols, I'm still looking at that but it's not a problem):

        depmod -a

Then you can put the following line into your system startup:

        modprobe timewarp

and it will print a nice header message to the log when it comes up. :)

And that should do it.
