GNOME Disk Catalog FAQ - just for fun
----------------------

Q: Why it is so slow....?
A: Originally Disk Catalog was done for my private use only and
I don't care if it is slow, because I can put it on background
and wait few hours, I have nothing but time now.
But if you compare 0.01 and 0.07 versions, you'll find out how much
   faster Disk Catalog is now.

Q: Version 0.06 doesn't read properly catalogs from 0.05 version, why?
A: I changed the format of catalog, so now it can include little more
information. There is an option where you can change between new and
   old catalog format.

Q: KDE port, when?
A: Soon, be patient my child :)

Q: Disk Catalog won't compile, why?
A: There may be many reasons for this, and you should give more specific info.
I have tested my Disk Catalog on following systems:
SuSE Linux 5.3 (libc5) running on Intel Pentium
   Linux kernel 2.x.x
   gnome-libs 1.0.1
   GCC 2.7.2.1
   GNOME Disk Catalog 0.01-0.07

Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 (glibc) on Intel Pentium
   Linux kernel 2.2.x
   gnome-libs-1.0.1/5
   egcs 1.1b (2.91.60)
   GNOME Disk Catalog 0.07-0.xx

Q: Why this FAQ is so short?
A: This is just an initial version and there hasn't been so much questions
   after all.
